The Best Ways To Advertise Your Business When You Are Just Starting Out

When you are just starting your dream business or you have been running it for less than one year it can be challenging to find the best ways to advertise it and attract your ideal clients. Marketing for me is all about finding your style and having fun. And you don’t have to spend thousands on advertising, especially when you are at the beginning of your entrepreneurial journey.

There are many other ways you can market your business for free or low-cost. Here are some of them:

1. Know your clients. First of all get clear, on your ideal clients and think about where you can find them. What groups are they part of, and what magazines are they reading?

2. Networking. You can do networking, and join relevant networking groups. When I started my own coaching business I joined local networking groups as I wanted to grow my connections and be surrounded by people like me.

3. Workshops. Sometimes those networking groups are looking for guest speakers so you can do a workshop and get visibility.

4. Guest blogging or writing articles, and posts for online/offline magazines. Ask yourself: What magazines/blogs your potential clients are reading? and get in touch with those magazines or blogs and ask them about writing opportunities.

5. Run your own blog/vlog/podcast and share your content online. Start your blog and share your posts/videos/podcast episodes on social media.

6. Do Facebook Lives, and grow your Facebook followers. If you like doing videos you can start doing Facebook Lives and get visible to your audience.

7. Talk with people and tell them what you do. You never know who is looking for your services or maybe they know someone who is looking for what you have to offer.

8. Build and grow your mailing list and share your content and your insights with your list. This is a must if you have an online business.

9. Create a lead magnet, a free report which your clients can download from your website and you can build your mailing list

10. Find your marketing style. What was and is effective for me is networking (on and offline, guest blogging, LinkedIn and workshops). But for you, it can be different. Do you like writing? If yes start a blog. Here is a link to a Free Live Call recording (no email needed): „How To Find Your Marketing Style And Get Visible To Your Clients”. Click here to watch
