10 Most Asked Questions About My International Life and Coaching Business

Here are the 10 most asked questions I got about my international life and coaching career.

1. How long have you been coaching?

I’ve been coaching for about 10 years.

2. Do you coach full-time?

Yes, coaching is my full-time job now. But at the beginning of my coaching adventure, I accepted temporary contracts like market research or interpreting.

3. What do you do?

I am a Career and Business Coach. I help expat and globally mobile women to create a fulfilling career or business around their international life. I work with private clients and collaborate with expat support organisations.

4. How do you market your coaching business?

I focus on different channels online (social media like Facebook, and LinkedIn) and offline like networking and speaking engagements. The most important is to understand who your ideal client is, their needs and where they’re hanging out.

5. Should I start my podcast? Everyone is podcasting now.

Yes, if this is exciting for you. Here is my video answer to this question:

6. Do you coach only women?

No, I coach men, too. There are more and more men following their spouses on international assignments.

7. Where are you from and in how many countries did you live?

I’m from Poland. I lived in Italy, UK, and France. I’ve been living abroad for more than 20 years.

8. Are you an expat, digital nomad, or immigrant?

All the above. I moved for various reasons during my life. Now I’m more of a flexpat. Here you can learn more about being a flexpat:

9. Do you need an expat coaching diploma to become an Expat Coach?

No, in my opinion, you don’t need it. I’ve been trained as a coach and have a career coaching qualification and lived abroad for many years. I think that’s enough to become an Expat Coach. Here is a video answer to that: How to Become An Expat Coach? Do I need a specific diploma?

10. How do you know if your programme/product is going to sell?

Do your market research first and test your program. Discover what your clients are looking for and provide them with a solution. You can listen and learn more in our podcast episode:
