{"id":7604,"date":"2021-10-22T18:02:22","date_gmt":"2021-10-22T16:02:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dmcoaching.eu\/?p=7604"},"modified":"2024-10-08T18:03:54","modified_gmt":"2024-10-08T16:03:54","slug":"from-my-italian-digital-nomad-adventure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dmcoaching.eu\/pl\/from-my-italian-digital-nomad-adventure\/","title":{"rendered":"From My Italian Digital Nomad Adventure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It has been one week since I started my Italian Digital Nomad Adventure, and it has been quite challenging.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">I&#8217;m travelling together with my partner and we are staying for one week in one place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">So far, we have been to beautiful Acqui Terme, a city and comune in Alessandria, Piedmont, northern Italy. This week, I&#8217;m writing from Pavia, a town and comune of south-western Lombardy <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">in northern<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Italy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">My challenges so far are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">sticking<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to my workout routine, it has been quite hard to follow my weekly workout plans; however, I&#8217;ve managed to go for long walks while exploring new places,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">working<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> from hotels, I don&#8217;t like it. Although I haven&#8217;t had any issues with the internet so far, I&#8217;m not sure if this is something for me,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">in<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> this Italian adventure, money management differs slightly from the French one. I have to be more aware of my expenses (not going so often to restaurants),<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">it<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> isn&#8217;t easy to record a podcast while you&#8217;re travelling, so I have to prerecord my episodes in advance or publish one episode per month. I opted for the second option. From October 2021, I&#8217;ll publish one episode per month of our The Expat Career And Lifestyle podcast,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">I won&#8217;t be able to visit all the attractions. I&#8217;m not a tourist, so I&#8217;m saying no to visiting some places, and that&#8217;s fine.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">These are my learning points and reflections so far. I&#8217;m grateful that we can travel and take our careers with us.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">What are the learning points from your digital nomad or Flexpat adventures?
